Our Mission

 

We See Abilities has as its mission a desire to give back to the local community, working to spread compassion and acceptance in a way that can unite the world. Our goal is to awaken everyone -- and every community -- to each person’s common humanity. There are millions of people with intellectual disabilities around the world. We want to reach out to every one of them – and their families and communities as well. We See Abilities does this through a wide range of training education, health screenings, community activities, constant advocating and fund-raising events.

 

We also create opportunities for families, community members, local leaders, businesses, law enforcement, celebrities, dignitaries and others to band together to change attitudes and support our Special Need Population.
